I've just started a new website which cost a lot of money. www.yourholidayrentals.com If it takes off, I've cracked it, but if it doesn't I'm a lot poorer and wiser. If you have a minute, take a look at it and tell me if you think it's OK. If you see something that needs changing or can think of anything that would make it more attractive please let me know.

Yes, I know the competition is stiff, and well established, but it's too late to turn back now.

Looks good. Just a couple of small things I was a bit confused by the magnifying glass next to the search box its not really clear what its for. Most of the properties I found had call for rate that makes it very difficult to compare them on line. The other sites I've seen like owners direct give you all the rate information and allow you to sort by rate. Its not the major consideration but money is a pretty big factor for most people.

Thanks for that. I'll have a word with my mate who I'm doing it with about the magnifying glass. It has been set up to allow the owners themselves to post their own information including rates, but I see what you mean about comparisons. It's always good to get another angle on things, so ta very much.

Hat off to you. I'm still trying to come up with my big idea to say "ta-ra" to bad bosses and poorly paid stupidly long hours to line someone else's pockets. I'd rather be my own bad boss with poor pay and stupidly long hours!

First impression is that it's a very attractive, professional looking website. Alas, I have no spare cash to use the service. But best of luck.

There is a lot of competition in this area...
I was trying to post a link to a Google search I did, that shows lots of similar sites, but the HTML tags won't work in comments for some reason.
